Spinning is the process of converting cleaned pashmina fibres into fine yarn.

Process

1. The cleaned and dehaired pashmina fibres are gently aligned.
2. Fibres are drawn out carefully to maintain smoothness and fineness.
3. The fibres are twisted together to form yarn.
4. Traditionally, spinning is done by hand using a spindle or spinning wheel.
5. The spun yarn is wound into bundles for weaving.
